A developer project to turn a former naval yard, brownfield site into a bustling hub of innovation. Scope included renovations of an existing munitions building, warehouse, and gantry crane from World War II, as well as several new buildings catered to tech companies. A growing healthcare group in SW Washington state sought to expand and re-brand their practice. The expansion included three projects - two medical office buildings, one at 15,000 SF and the second at 25,000 SF, and an ambulatory surgery center. My work focused primarily on this 3-story, 80,000 SF facility. Utilizing durable materials to meet the needs of a modest facade budget, the design team developed a handsome palate that will age gracefully.
